Using: kitchen and oven
Put a heavy frying pan over medium-low heat while mixing the batter. Melt the butter gently and let it cool slightly.
Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Whisk eggs and milk together, then mix in most of the melted butter.
Pour wet ingredients into dry and fold just until no large dry pockets remain. Leave for five minutes while the pan finishes heating.
Brush the pan with some of the reserved butter. Add rounds of batter with enough room to turn them.
Cook until bubbles rise and the edges begin to look set. Flip each pancake and cook the second side until golden.
Place cooked pancakes on a warm plate while finishing the batter. Stack into portions and spoon over golden syrup.
And finally, fluffy pancakes.
